Copper River Technologies is seeking a DAI Sr. Training Specialist to join our team in Alexandria, VA.  This position will support the Department of Defense's, Defense Agencies Initiative (DAI) Accounting/Finance & Budget effort, supporting end users throughout the DoD, via email and phone calls.

This position is onsite, full-time in Alexandria, VA for the first 90-120 days and then will support a hybrid schedule.

Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

  • Provide training to support the sustainment of Oracle/DAI Process Areas end-to-end integration and all resources and activities required to ensure operational functionality 
  • Must be familiar with delivering content for the following at a minimum: P2P, UMX and OTL.
  • Develop and update PowerPoint slide decks as each Process Area functionality changes. 
  • WHS-specific, role and scenario-based DAI user training and materials to ensure WHS optimized operational functionality with DAI.
  • Develop new training materials and training reports as required for WHS users.
  • Provide input and contribute to improvement of performance by way of training improvements or modification of training provided.
  • Support training to all WHS users, typically via MS Teams.
  • Assist in establishing a process to standardize all of the WHS/FMD information designated for dissemination either external or internal, including design and publication of booklets, Organizational Charts, Seating Charts, and/or other communication materials and training reports for public and internal audiences, and hosting the communication working group. 
  • Manage content of the FMD SharePoint to include library maintenance, coordinating with the SharePoint Center of Excellence, providing reports of SharePoint user activity including but not limited to helpdesk tickets, field accounting requests, reference data change forms, and items entered into the budget manual.

Requirements:

  • Clearance:
    • Secret
  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or a related field is preferred, or relevant military experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree. 
  • Experience:
    • 7 years experience in a training role. 
    • 5 years of experience utilizing Oracle Process Areas within DAI.
