The Trade Marketing Specialist is responsible for the development, implementation, and analysis of all marketing activities in the local market of reference within CNE, for the Pet Specialty Retail Channel (PSR), to support business growth through the retailer’s engagement, pet owners’ activation and ensure the perfect execution of our priorities.

The main purpose is to manage and develop Royal Canin brand within the PSR channel according to the strategy. To constantly support the brand image in the local market of reference within CNE, in full respect of Royal Canin philosophy & communication codes, as well as The Five Principles.

What will be your key responsibilities?

  • Responsible for planning, supervising & execution A&P budget to secure Growth pillar strategy and proper level of investment with periodical monitoring in cooperation with PSR Pillar Head & S&F.

  • Manage Regional, Cluster and Market marketing activities (including OMN).

  • Define & Implement portfolio strategy in the market of reference.

  • Plan and manage ordering, development, and production of all communication/promotional materials.

  • Supports development, execution & evaluation of B2C / B2B activities on local market.

  • Development with PSR Pillar Head & Market PSR Market Sales Team promotional plans and customized promotional plans for Key Accounts (including Joint Business Plans.

  • Managing the A&P&D budget providing onboarding and coordination of regular inputs coming from Key Accounts Managers.

  • Introduces and follows all governance process being respected and executed (PO’s, ICE, QMP, Indirect Buying, GDPR , IT compliance, PGR rules & Trade Terms ).

  • Secures balance level of promo investment (PGR rules) & monitor Trade Terms investment.

  • Ensures regular performance analysis & conducts required reporting.

  • 3-rd Party cooperation securing merch storage/service.

  • Supports PSR Market in projects deployment.

  • Handles marketing related ERP (Navision) Key User scope.

What are we looking for?

  • University degree, preferred qualification: Bachelor’s degree in marketing or Business Management, or related field.

  •  3+ years’ Experience in marketing and/or trade marketing within international company.

  • Well-developed, planning and priority setting skills.

  • Customer focus and ability to develop customer value propositions.

  • Fluent in English (excellent written and oral skills).

  • Digital marketing/ Media planning experience is a plus.

  • Well-developed computer skills.
