The Customer Success Specialist plays a critical role in supporting both our sales team and our customers. This position serves as a junior account manager, assisting with client onboarding, relationship management, and ongoing service support, while also handling administrative and operational sales functions. The ideal candidate is highly organized, problem-solving, and customer-focused.
What you will do…
- Assist the Business Development team in managing customer relationships, addressing client inquiries, and ensuring a seamless experience.
- Support new client onboarding, including contract processing, pricing verification, and account setup.
- Monitor customer accounts for service issues, renewals, and opportunities for growth or better utilization of our services.
- Address client concerns and escalating issues, when necessary.
- Proactively reach out to customers to confirm satisfaction and identify upsell opportunities.
- Conduct follow-ups on proposals and service inquiries.
- Assist in developing and executing customer retention strategies.
- Prepare and process sales documentation, including proposals, agreements, and pricing updates.
- Maintain and update CRM systems with accurate customer and sales data.
- Partner with Sales, Customer Service, and Operations to ensure timely management of open customer cases.
- Provide administrative sales and/or customer support to the Sales team and senior leadership within MCF.
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 2+ years in sales support, account management, or customer service. Hazmat experience preferred
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
- Superior communication and presentation skills
- Interpersonal skills to work well in a team environment
- High level of accuracy
- Strong business acumen and problem-solving skills
- High proficiency in Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint.
