The Customer Support Coordinator for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for Customer Service Administration support as well as Reception and Finance Fleet Expenses Collection.

This position is part of the General Administration Department located in Samrand, Gauteng and will be an On-site Position. At Beckman Coulter, our vision is to relentlessly reimagine healthcare, one diagnosis at a time.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Excellent organizational competencies with attention to detail.
  • Enthusiastic with strong communication skills.
  • Knowledge of Excel
  • Good IT skills and knowledge of Oracle and SM and Quest required. 
  • Participate in DBS activities to drive continuous improvement.

General Scope and Purpose of the Position:

BASIC PURPOSE

The Customer Support Coordinator will be responsible for all contract actions. Invoicing of DX and LS cash jobs. Action all IMF’s and Africa IB corrections. Install Base updates. Action internal and external emails. The processing of requests and administrative duties will be performed in adherence to the company’s objectives, policies and procedures.

NATURE AND SCOPE

The position calls for an individual with a high level of accountability to manage correct Contract creations, invoicing and PM demands, Correct invoicing of cash jobs and requests for quotes and general administrative requests. The associate will work closely with their supervisor and the commercial team to maximize revenue recognition and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.

Team Orientated and with good communication skills, the associate will interact with internal and external organizations including but not limited to Command Center, Logistics, Regulatory and CSA teams and will actively participate in daily management.

Organized and with an inquisitive personality, the incumbent will have a proven track record of working to deadlines and utilizing DBS tools to drive sustained process improvement.  

Customer Support Administrative tasks

  • Action all internal and external emails and queries
  • Action contract renewal
  • Perform tasks related to the IMF process as stipulated in the standard work.
  • Create and action PM demands
  • Prepare and manage quotes as per the standard work.
  • Invoicing of Cash jobs performed
  • IB corrections, site swops, IB status
  • Perform any incidental task as requested by the customer support department leadership.
  • Work closely with commercial operations and internal support functions to drive growth and continuous improvement.

      

Reception Duties:

  • Responsibilities around administration and security as well, to set first impression for guest entering our organization which can have a huge impact on the way client view us, answering incoming calls and transfer to the correct department
  • data entry for all visitors, interacting with staff members, handling basic customer service issues and
  • responding to email inquiries online. also, to provide key administrative support and lend a helping hand with special projects.

Fleet Expenses Collection:

  • collect and capture all fleet expenses ODO reading for Finance department, this helps to keep trac of mileage per vehicle.
  • Customer Statements, assist with reprint and resend statement from AR mailbox.

This job is also eligible for 10% bonus/incentive pay.
