The Customer Strategy & Planning function translates the vision and strategy of HALEON’s categories and brands into an actionable set of customer specific priorities (e.g., support best in class innovation launches, assortment objectives, pricing goals, trade funding tactics and effectiveness, merchandising objectives). 

By employing insight-driven trade strategies and effective activation, they achieve success with customers, engage shoppers, and drive significant profitable growth for our brands, categories, and customers.

This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career.  These responsibilities include some of the following:

  • Translates Haleon Pain Portfolio brand objectives, strategies, and activation plans into 4P strategies to guide sales priorities that support sales, market share, and profit growth for both Haleon and retailers in an omni-channel environment.

  • Embed in commercial planning, with trade optimized by customer segmentation, with promotions and assortment driving profitable, efficient growth

  • Lead and facilitate annual Customer planning to meet identified timelines and requirements, then supports Retailer Account Teams in activating and delivering against sales objectives and priorities

  • Promote discussion on brand priorities and our category strategy through both 1:1 and group forums that drive learning and continuous improvement in activation plans

  • Assist with Customer Performance, insights on Trade events and supply / inventory challenges

  • Drive alignment on business situations throughout the organization to include Brand, Sales, NRM, Shopper Marketing, Finance, Supply, Analytics and Sales Operations on unique Customer and overall Brand initiatives.

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a related commercial role such as (but not limited to) Customer Strategy, Trade Marketing or Customer facing sales role with a preference for consumer-packaged goods

  • Experience interpreting data and leveraging insights to build and execute category/brand trade strategies

Preferred Qualifications:

If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:

  • Exceptional knowledge of Retail customers and the marketplace, with customer facing experience

  • Strong background in developing sales strategies, and support multiple processes & systems (e.g., sales reporting, syndicated data, etc.)

  • Robust analytical capabilities with ability to translate into action-minded strategies

  • Excellent financial management skills including brand P&Ls, ROI, and budget management

  • Excellent written & oral communication skills with the ability to engage and influence up to Executive level

  • Building strong relationships and collaboration, managing trusted stakeholder relationships internally and externally

  • Excellent organization, time management and prioritization skills; proven ability to balance multiple critical tasks and consistently delivering against hard deadlines

The salary range for this role is: $127,136 - $174,812 USD + bonus
