Position Summary

As a member of our Memory Quality Assurance team, you will be able to make a real difference and contribute to the EMEA growing organization, while working in a diverse and multi-cultural environment.
In this role, you will provide quality assurance and customer service support to EMEA Customers, using our volatile (DRAM) and non-volatile (eMMC, UFS) memory chips. You will also monitor and/or analyze Memory products quality levels at customer side, prevent and resolve quality problems whenever they occur. By ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction you will foster a long-term relationship with them.

Role and Responsibilities

  • You will deal as a customer interface for technical and quality issues for automotive customers
  • You will ensure close cooperation to align Customer and Headquarter Quality organizations
  • You will be responsible for timely reaction to customer concerns about Quality Assurance; coordinate Root Cause analysis and Corrective actions for continuous quality improvement
  • You will drive process change approvals as per Automotive industry requirements
  • You will check and confirm routine failure modes; identify potential/emerging problems, and take preventive/corrective action accordingly; ensure timely communication of related QA information; direction to Samsung HQ for customer satisfaction
  • You will understand HQ strategy for QA; ensure local activities are organized accordingly; keep Sales, Marketing and Technical teams informed of relevant issues
  • You will prepare/coordinate Quality meetings with major customers as required
  • Professional reporting of QA matters to HQ/EU management
  • Market sensing to align internal process to meet Technical/Quality requirements


 

Skills and Qualifications

  • A Bachelor/ Master degree in Electrical/Micro-/Electronics or Computer Science Engineering field
  • 2+ years of relevant experience within Quality Assurance/Customer Service.
  • Experience within the Semiconductor / Electronics industry advantageous
  • Strong Customer Service oriented approach, within automotive domain is a plus
  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills with high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to organize, prioritize and multi-task under minimum supervision
  • Proactive team player with ability to work in a multi-cultural environment
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Fluent in English and German preferable (additional languages advantageous)
  • Willingness to Travel (occasional)
