Job Description of Korea Customer Quality Engineer

The ADI Korea is seeking a Customer Quality Engineer who is capable to take below responsibilities with described qualification.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- The Customer Quality Engineer will serve as a liaison to customers and act as the key coordinator/information channel for customer's quality related issues.
- Responsible to work with the customer and factory for resolution of failures / problems customer is experiencing, including reviewing and approving FA and 8D reports.
- Should understand the full problem and/or concern that the customer is reporting, and test, define and characterize them, translate into terms that can be addressed through ADI issue resolution process. This includes communicating with FA lab and/or other responsible engineering departments for FA and 8D to be effectively processed.
- Responsible for delivering qualification data needs including qualification reports, samples, data and negotiation of qualification requirements.
- Responsible for customer Product Change Notices (PCN) requirements and managing other customer notifications, and for qualification and closure of PCN issues with customers.
- Responsible for customer specification & drawing reviews, consolidating Product Line/Manufacturing site responses and communication of final review results to customers.
- The CQE will develop improvement plans to both maintain and improve ADI's quality performance rating that includes customer scorecards.
Minimum qualifications
- At least Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering or equivalent disciplines is required (including graduating in spring 2024)
- Proficient in using Microsoft office tools. Additional computer skills are a plus.
- Comfortable in communication skills both in Korean and English to effectively lead technical discussions and communications with ADI worldwide resources.
- Excellent analytical, problem solving, organizational, and time management skills.
- Works independently with minimum supervision.
- No professional experience required.
Preferred qualifications
- 2 years of related experience is a plus but not a must
- Familiarity with modern semiconductor manufacturing processes
