Summary
The Customer Operations Communication Specialist uses specialized knowledge and skills to implement, maintain, and manage internal and external communication efforts as it relates to scheduled, charter, and irregular operations.

Minimum Requirements
A combination of Education and Experience will be considered. Must be authorized to work in the US as defined by the Immigration Act of 1986. Must pass a Criminal Background Check.
Education: High School Diploma/GED
Years of Experience: Minimum two (2) years of experience in communications strategy development.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Outstanding organizational and time-management skills.
• Experience and knowledge in copywriting, proofreading and editing.
• Works well under pressure and meets tight deadlines.
• Proficient in basic computer software such as Word, Excel, Microsoft, etc.
• Team-oriented and able to work in a collaborative environment.
Preferred Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
Job Duties
• Coordinate and monitor communications between the OCC, Stations, Crew, and Customers.
• Serve as a point of contact for internal media requests and delivery of information.
• Create, coordinate, and maintain external and internal communications process flows.
• Create effective communication strategies during scheduled, charter, and irregular operations.
• Maintain library of approved scripts and liaise with Media and Marketing departments for ad-hoc scripts.
• Communicate all information proactively and timely with the designated management including Executives and internal/external customers.
• Communicate service recovery with internal and external customers.
• Maintain Admin Portal business rules.
• Maintain Staff Contacts as it relates to the Communications Hub.
• Provide support to OCC Customer Operations.
• Other duties as assigned.

Office - While performing the duties of this job, the Team Member is regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, see, reach, stoop, kneel, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, keyboard, printer, and phone. May be required to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 20 lbs. May be required to work various shifts/days in a 24-hour situation. Regular attendance is a requirement of the role. Exposure to moderate noise (i.e. business office with computers, phones, printers, and foot traffic), temperature and light fluctuations. Ability to work in a confined area as well as the ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period of time. Some travel may be a requirement of the role.
