The Global Corporate Marketing team sustains MongoDB’s brand, reputation and influence across the world. We’re looking for an enthusiastic internal and customer-facing Marketing Communications professional to join the Customer Marketing team within the Influencer Marketing function. 

This person will report to the Customer Marketing Lead and will be responsible for creating content and leading co-marketing engagements with our EMEA based customers. We’re looking for someone with excellent relationship building skills who is passionate about customer advocacy. This person should be highly organized and requires reflective, analytical, strong and strategic thinking, the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders – someone who can keep all of the trains running on time. 

You’ll be responsible for managing the technical and administrative aspects of the customer marketing programs systems including the story and content production as well as internal sales enablement pages on Highspot, our customer story database, the wiki page and our monthly reports. You will also publish customer stories in our CMS and ensure the continued success of the function by driving the strategic direction of the technical programs, serving as the one point of contact for EMEA customer marketing activities and integrating all regional customer marketing efforts into our global communications campaign and relevant global engagements and initiatives. 
We are looking to speak to candidates who are based in Barcelona for our hybrid working model.

What You’ll Do

  • Manage all technical aspects of key customer marketing systems (HighSpot, Customer Story Database, Jira, Wrike and new systems as we add them) 
  • Track and generate reports on customer references, customer marketing activities, the stories we produce and the impact of our function
  • Manage the EMEA Customer Marketing budget 
  • Maintain and improve scalable processes that ensure best practices in customer marketing 
  • Manage creative and web design requests 
  • Work closely with our agency contacts to produce and deliver written and video content and relevant marketing materials 
  • Manage internal and external content reviews with cross functional stakeholders, customers and executives 
  • Create and maintain metrics reports on customer marketing activities and measure their effectiveness and business impact 
  • Analyze marketing and sales data to develop insights and make recommendations on areas for optimization
  • Monitor and maintain data quality in the customer marketing database and on HighSpot
  • Evaluate new technologies and add-on applications to improve and optimize customer marketing performance 

Who You Are

  • Customer obsessed
  • Proven track record working in an operations role
  • Data-driven but also wildly creative and able to craft solutions that provide greater transparency and reporting capabilities
  • 4 plus years of experience in an project management or operations role, preferably at a high-growth technology company
  • Experience collaborating and working cross-functionally with similar roles in sales, partner, engineering, marketing, product, developer relations or People orgs
  • A consistent record of planning, executing and measuring successfully against defined goals
  • Experience developing both internal and agency resources to accomplish the goals of the global customer program
  • Strong analytical skills (including mastery of tools like excel) and experience with reporting and data analysis
  • Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously while managing various stakeholders 
  • Excellent communication skill
  • Technically capable, excellent communicator, and a desire to improve processes.
  • Proficient with tools like Salesforce, Jira, TechValidate, etc.
  • Fluent in another European language a plus
