Summary
The purpose of this role is to support the Food Stuffs NZ North & South Island Customers. With two (2) direct reports the aim for this role is to drive and support customer excellence in everything that we do!
The role will have accountability for understanding the specific needs of the assigned channels and leading solution development with customers that will drive volume, reduce waste/cost, and create sustainable competitive advantage. This position will support supply chain collaboration with assigned customers and internal partners including sales, distribution, transportation, manufacturing, finance, and supply chain S&OP. Key deliverables will be focused on service, driving growth, reducing cost to serve, along with end-to-end network optimization.
This role exists to improve our key metrics (CFR, RDD & OTIF), enhance our service to our customers through focusing on their KPIs (DIF, DOT, DIFOT & OBSL) as well as increasing supply chain efficiencies to become a supplier of choice
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyse customer performance to determine root-causes and action-plans in driving KPIs.
- Use customer data, track scorecard metrics/customer KPIs, and perform analysis that provides insights to the Sales team to shape customer conversations and plans.
- Partner with our internal teams including Supply Chain and Sales leadership with insights and perspective on each customer's operating model - support with communication and presentations.
- Utilise customer data to prepare and present recommendations that drive key sales initiatives (such as new item management, promotion execution, space and assortment optimization, etc.)
- Look towards problem resolution with order management, transportation, demand, and production planning.
- Lead the investigation and understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes with customers and diagnose opportunities for improvement and value creation.
- Design and deliver product flow solutions and process improvements which balance KH ANZ investment/cost with increased sales and waste reduction.
- Escalate customer specific requests for supply chain services and align the value proposition with internal partners - lead supply chain meetings across multi-functional teams.
- Take ownership of the supply chain collaboration process by cultivating the match between each customer's operating strategy and KH ANZ internal capabilities.
- Lead the customer supply chain through developing, coaching and empowering a high performing team of VRPs
- Drive effective cross-functional communication among key stakeholders such as Sales, Logistics, Demand, Supply and Customers
- Be the face of Kraft Heinz within customers and maintain healthy relationships to become their supplier of choice
- Focus on customer specific initiatives that will lead to an implementation of supply chain improvements and efficiencies as well as driving KPI results for Kraft Heinz and Customer
About you:
- Advanced Excel, PowerPoint skills
- High data analysis capability
- Power BI/Tableau & SAP (desired, not essential)
- Tertiary qualification - Bachelor's Degree; preferably in Supply Chain, Engineering, Analytics, or other technical focus areas
- 5-10 years' experience in logistics and customer facing roles, preferably in the FMCG industry
- Exceptional customer relationship management and stakeholder engagement
- Outstanding team leadership experience
- Strong financial acumen in a supply chain environment
- Building and leading multiple supply chain projects
- You have experience in Supply Chain
- Have strong analytical and problem-solving and communication skills.
- You have proven ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced multicultural environment
- You can manage through Key Performance Indicators and performance issues
- You are self-motivated and results oriented
