Role Description
As a Customer Acquisition Manager (CAM) for our Real Estate Partners (IA), Small and Medium-sized Businesses (SMB), and Success Managers (SM) segments in Chicago, you will help develop and manage the day-to-day execution of the market-level strategy for your teams. You will be charged with leading these teams towards achieving their sales goals in one of our newest expansion markets. You will report into the Head of Sales for the area and also work cross-functionally with local teams to support customer satisfaction efforts and ensure field escalations are resolved in a timely manner
In this role, you'll:
- Manage the hiring, onboarding, and day-to-day operations of our local Real Estate Partners (IA), Success Managers (SM), and Small and Medium-sized business (SMB) teams, including daily/weekly meetings, training, sales plan development, reporting, and in the field coaching.
- Ensure your IA, SM, and SMB hit their activity targets for each month and drive deal conversion.
- Manage the NPLB (no property left behind) process.
- Partner with national Channel Managers to oversee daily operations.
- Coordinate with the local tech ops team to effectively handle and resolve field escalations for all assigned channels within service-level agreement targets
- Collect local market intelligence and generate sales reports to distribute critical field sales data to the local head of sales and other relevant local and regional leadership.
At a minimum we'd like you to have:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 7 years of experience in sales management or operations.
- 5 years of experience using data analytics tools (e.g., Google Sheets or spreadsheet software), Salesforce, or a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool to measure sales performance or operational challenges.
- Experience managing projects and reporting to executive-level stakeholders.
It's preferred if you have:
- Direct experience building, managing, and retaining Sales teams in the telecom industry.
- Experience managing a variety of extended workforce teams to achieve business goals.
- Experience managing daily operations, projects, and tasks to completion with limited supervision.
- Experience using verbal and written communication to influence stakeholders, including executive leadership, peers, managers, and direct reports.
- Experience converting existing properties to bulk deals.
- Experience managing the property funnel from access agreement to install ready.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $126,000 - $139,000 + bonus + cash award + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
