We’re on the lookout for an analytical, innovative Creative Strategist to help take our creative to the next level. In this role, you’ll develop fresh campaigns and ads that leverage consumer insights. The ideal candidate is a Jack/Jill of all trades – you do all the things from brainstorming concepts, taking photos, shooting video, editing videos, designing, copywriting, analyzing performance, and more. You are creative to your core, with the rare ability to understand the numbers, and a desire to always one up either yourself or the competition.

What you’ll do: 

  • Market Research
    • Conduct market research and analyze customer data to identify key demographic, behaviors, motivations and pain-points
      • Including but not limited utilizing surveys, interviews, reviews, customer service calls, and data analytics tools 
    • Stay on the cutting edge of trends in ads, customer personas, media buying
    • Monitor brands we admire (and our competitors) to gain insights on their strategies and identify opportunities or threats 
  • Creative Strategy 
    • Create a strategic framework for ads by leveraging customer insights and current market trends
    • Develop innovative ad concepts that align with customer personas, business objectives and are optimized for specific touchpoints 
    • Lead brainstorming sessions with creative team and marketing channel managers to generate a diverse range of ideas 
  • Ad Creation 
    • Either quickly create the asset yourself or work with our network of creators to bring your vision to life 
    • If working with content creators, provide clear briefs and guidelines 
    • Project manage creators to ensure we meet our deadlines
  • Performance Analysis 
    • Track the performance of ad campaigns across various platforms 
    • Optimize creative 

Who you are:

  • 3+ years of experience in direct response performance marketing
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a network of contractors/creators 
  • Proficient Adobe Creative Suite or Canva 
  • Motivated by learning or trying new things 
  • A well rounded communicator, collaborator and presenter who loves to share findings and actionable insights
  • A “no task is too small” attitude and a positive, spirited outlook

 

Extra Credit

  • Familiarity with A/B testing and other optimization techniques
