The Opportunity
We are looking for a Creative Project Manager to join Rapid7's Marketing organization. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Agency Operations, the Creative Project Manager will drive and support creative and digital projects from kickoff to delivery. A strong sense of organization and collaboration are critical as this role will partner closely with Creative, Digital, Operations, and stakeholders across the Rapid7 organization to drive work that supports all aspects of the business.
The Team:
The Creative Project Manager reporting into the Senior Manager, Agency Operations, will drive and support creative (content, design, web, and video) projects from kickoff to delivery. A strong sense of organization and collaboration are critical as this role will partner closely with Creative, Digital, Operations, and stakeholders across the Rapid7 organization to drive work that supports all aspects of the business.
In this role you will:

  • Partner closely with Content, Design, and Digital teams, as well as stakeholders across marketing, to proactively lead delivery of agency projects from intake to close out, ensuring work is delivered on time, on budget, and on brief.
  • Manage the delivery of initiatives in support of the website strategy roadmap, collaborating closely with the Website Strategy Manager, Web Developers, and external agency partners to prioritize work, demonstrating good judgment about when to pull in subject matter experts to assess.
  • Drive assigned projects with minimal supervision, managing project schedules, next steps and action items, ensuring our workflow system (Asana) is up to date and clear.
  • Ensure kickoff requirements are met, project schedules are updated and accurate, and expectations are consistently and effectively communicated to project stakeholders.
  • Present or route agency work for stakeholder and leadership approval, resolve conflicting feedback and work to build consensus, and ensure feedback is clearly communicated and implemented accordingly throughout the agency process.
  • Manage the project closeout process - ensuring project documentation is complete, final are stored and uploaded, and project communications are finalized.
  • Partner cross-functionally to improve processes and drive the development and improvement of the in-house agency and agency operations function with a continuous improvement mindset.


In return you will bring:

  • 3+ years of experience as an agency project manager or related role
  • In-house or external agency experience required, particularly digital
  • Understanding of marketing tactics and the creative process, particularly digital
  • Ability to independently lead projects, and to build and deliver against project schedules
  • Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • A proactive approach with excellent communication skills
  • A focus on building collaborative partnerships with creatives and stakeholders alike
  • A sense of humor, flexibility, and adaptability with a continuous improvement mindset
  • Familiarity with project management systems (Workfront, Asana, Jira, etc.)
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity is a plus
