Glossier is looking for a strategic, creative and collaborative Senior Creative Project Manager. Our in-house Creative team is responsible for a range of content -- from building and refining Glossier’s brand voice and messaging, retail/experiential production, to product and packaging design for each of our products. This role will be responsible for bringing Glossier to the public through end to end project management of these initiatives in close partnership with the rest of the creative team, the wider marketing org and cross functional teams across the company.
The ideal candidate has a strong grasp of a commercial creative process and has worked closely with either an in-house creative team or creative agency in the past. They are passionately organized, a great communicator and able to translate commercial business needs into clear and concise creative briefs and direction.
Day to day, you’ll be working on exciting projects on the wholesale/retail side on 360 campaigns and product launches, ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within budget without compromising the best in class creative work that we strive to deliver. You’ll be managing schedules, workflow, project resourcing and prioritization, stakeholder communications through executive level and delivery. You will partner with the Director of Creative Operations to identify key areas of process improvement and support with the implementation of incremental change.
Expectations
- Working on multiple workstreams, supporting the marketing, wholesale and creative team in bringing product launches, and campaigns to market
- Develop strong cross functional relationships with marketing and wholesale team to ensure efficiency and seamless collaboration across all channel owners and key stakeholders
- Foster a keen understanding of the Glossier world, our brand, our people and our values and apply these learnings to project planning and execution
- Create/update/maintain schedules for programs to ensure we’re tracking towards major milestones and clearly communicate and escalate risks in a timely manner
- Continuously maintain/update and share creative project status and project management tools
Qualifications
- 3 + years of creative project management or account management experience with an in-house creative team
- Understanding of the creative production process across multiple channels (visual merchandising, broadcast, ooh, print, digital etc.) and a clear sense of project scope and how long a creative project may take to complete.
- Experience working with multiple stakeholders and contributors on large-scale projects/rollouts including agency partners, internal product and technical teams, and creatives.
- Great verbal and written communication skills - the ability to translate complex or large tasks into manageable, actionable briefs and milestones.
- Flexible working style - able to lead teams and projects calmly through change and ambiguity
- Proficiency in project management platforms and other design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite a plus
- 4 month contract term to start based in New York
- Working hours; 40 hours per week
In accordance with the applicable law, the following represents a good faith estimate of the minimum and maximum compensation range for this position:
- The estimated pay range for this role is $45.00 - $50.00 per hour
- Compensation for the role will be determined based on permissible, non discriminatory factors such as a candidate’s qualifications, skills, and experience.
