The Role

Overview

Fusion Medical Staffing is searching for a Marketing intern to join our Marketing team. In this position, you will work with the Creative Manager to create and coordinate marketing campaigns and content development. The intern will participate in program-specific development experiences and a capstone project designed to help prepare them for their future career.

Essential Functions

  • Work closely with the Marketing Creative team to collaborate on marketing activations including social media content, video shoots, trade show planning, print and promo ordering, campaign management, graphic design, and content development.
  • Support Fusion’s efforts in communicating to our wide range of audiences – healthcare travelers, community members, client partners, and dedicated vendors.
  • Communicate key projects, updates, and event details to internal Fusion employees by working with the Communication and PR team.
  • Create posts for the company intranet (The Fix) and content for the FuseBoard relating to the employee/traveler experience/benefits and Fusion’s 2025 key metrics.
  • Participate in Fusion Internship Program experiences and other development opportunities as directed by Program Coordinator
  • Actively participate in capstone and other projects when applicable
  • Work collaboratively with other interns, team members, and Fusion employees.
  • Other duties as assigned by management and/or Program Coordinator

Work Environment

Work environment defined:

Local - position has in-office requirements Monday through Friday and would require employee to live in the local area.

Position Type/Expected hours worked:

  • Internship dates: May 19th – August 22nd, 2025
  • This is a temporary position.
  • Must work at least 25 hours/week, but no more than 40 hours/week.
  • Required to work in office every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday morning to participate in program-specific development sessions. In office days may change based on Division specific policy.
  • Required to attend and participate in Capstone Project presentation on August 21st, 2025
  • The work week is Monday through Friday, with specific work hours approved by Division Manager.
  • Computer & software is provided.
  • Reliable internet is required (not provided).

  • Employee is regularly required to talk and hear
  • Constantly operates a computer and other office equipment, such as a phone, headset, calculator, copier, and printer
  • The person in this position may need to occasionally move about inside the office to access files, computer equipment, copier, etc.

Position Type/Expected hours worked

This is a part-time position, and standard hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, between the hours of 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. CST (start/end times with manager discretion). Regular and punctual attendance is required

Required Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Actively enrolled in an associate or bachelor’s degree program in Marketing, and/or Graphic Design.

Preferred Education and Experience

  • Preference is given to Junior and Senior standing.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
