As Creative Director of Brand Design, reporting to a Senior Director, you will lead the creative vision and design strategy for Conagra’s robust portfolio of brands across multiple categories for North America. You will translate consumer insights and brand strategy into compelling visual and verbal design solutions that inspire consumer preference, market difference and commercial success.   • Oversee the development of brand identity systems and packaging architecture design
  • Guide teams through the entire design process from concept to production
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create a cohesive and meaningful vision from blank slates
  • Lead creative alignment sessions with partners from junior brand managers to C-level executives, navigating diverse perspectives to lead consensus and unlock fresh solutions.
  • Demonstrate a high level of design thinking abilities and guide creative direction
  • Apply behavioral science principles to design execution
  • Exercise a leadership style that nurtures creative talent in a corporate environment.
  • Translate between "business strategy" and creative speak"
  • Navigate corporate environments while protecting creative integrity

Your Experience:

  • 10+ years' experience in consumer-packaged goods (CPG) packaging design, with proven portfolio
  • Experience with major retailers and global CPG brands
  • Experience with retail environments and shelf impact
  • Balance creative excellence with business goals
  • Commercial knowledge and strategic brand understanding
  • Knowledge of packaging production processes and materials
  • Experience managing and growing creative teams
  • Expert understanding of consumer trends and market dynamics
  • History of solving unique, complex problems that have a broad, inter-connected impact on the business

Number of Days in Office: 3

Located in downtown Chicago along the Chicago River, our corporate headquarters is in the landmark Merchandise Mart building, with access to public transit, and several options for dining and shopping in the area.

Compensation: 

Pay Range:$130,000-$193,000

The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee’s actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees’ equity. Conagra Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.
