NVIDIA seeks a Verification Engineer with strong CPU and verification fundamentals to help drive our CPU execution. This position offers the opportunity to have a real impact in a progressive, technology-focused company impacting product lines ranging from consumer graphics to self-driving cars and the growing field of artificial intelligence. We have crafted a team of outstanding people stretching around the globe, whose mission is to push the frontiers of what is possible today and define the platform for the future of computing. We recently announced Grace CPU for HPC and AI workloads https://www.nvidia.com/en-in/data-center/grace-cpu/
What you will be doing:
You will be part of the CPU unit design verification team. You will focus on verifying critical units in the CPU pipeline. You will work on units related to the CPU memory path. The CPU is a complex mirco-architecture at a bleeding edge performance level. This involved understanding the micro-architecture, developing the verification strategy, putting together the verification testplan, and developing various components like stimulus, sequences, coverage and scoreboards. You will be part of a fast-paced verification team that delivers the most advanced CPU's to the AI(Artificial intelligence) and the HPC(high-performance computing) market segments
What we need to see:
-
BS or MS in Electronics Engineering with a good track record and prior DV experience.
-
2+ years of experience in the related field
-
SV/UVM or equivalent verification languages and methodologies.
-
Strong problem solving - more specifically DV code like stimulus, models, checkers, and coverage.
-
Knowledge in computer architecture and design, specifically understanding load/store, caching and coherency concepts.
-
Experience verifying digital systems with standard IP components/interconnects, including microprocessor cores and hierarchical memory subsystems.
Way to stand out from the crowd:
-
Previous track record of contributing strongly to DV projects.
-
Expertise in the memory subsystem and awareness of cache and coherency protocols.

What We Do
NVIDIA’s invention of the GPU in 1999 sparked the growth of the PC gaming market, redefined modern computer graphics, and revolutionized parallel computing. More recently, GPU deep learning ignited modern AI — the next era of computing — with the GPU acting as the brain of computers, robots, and self-driving cars that can perceive and understand the world. Today, NVIDIA is increasingly known as “the AI computing company.”
