The role will form part of the WW Aruba Pricing Operations Team and will report to Aruba CPQ Management.
Given the coverage of this role the ideal candidate will be comfortable with changing priorities and a large variety of roles. Role will predominantly cover North American functionality and testing and will be covering North American time zone, however some testing tasks will extend also to cross coverage with APJ and EMEA.
This role will focus heavily on systems / process design, testing, de-bugging and enhancements, steering toward Aruba having best in class environments in support of our field Sales teams. In this role, you will need a keen understanding of the business requirements, and work with our broader IT teams to ensure these are implemented successfully. Every possible outcome will need to be considered, as well as challenged.
This role will afford the right candidate the opportunity to join a medium sized Pricing & Operations team covering multiple regions for the Aruba BU within HPE.
The role is heavily varied, with many tasks to be completed daily ranging from creation of Change Requests, User Stories, to system administration, system testing as well as upskilling to offer support across the team.
How you´ll make your mark:
- Become efficient with all sales related systems, tools and processes to a level that allows provision of an exceptional service to the sales team
- Identify potential issues and problems with tools or process and escalate them for resolution to prevent interruption to the work of the sales team
- System table change ownership for business and pricing process functionality
- Training and educating new members of the team within the systems environment
- Complete all necessary elements of User Acceptance Testing, as well as Move to Production participation (weekend work necessary)
- User Story creation, CR logging during UAT and MTP, conversion of CR's to Requirement Changes. Production issue logging and tracking in multiple environments
- Negative / Regression testing
- Escalation management linked to all elements of the systems capabilities
- Collaborating across multiple functions and BU’s
- Supporting WW Aruba as needed with UAT and MTP activities
- Defect grouping with multiple regions during UAT & MTP and centralized CR logging
- Preparation of data for QDM/Optimus entries for all regions
- Functionality cross check between regions
About you:
- A strong business mindset is key, with a ‘run to the fire’ attitude; driving an action-oriented culture: you deliver on your promises,
- Intellectual curiosity, humility, accountability and positive approach,
- Fluency in written and spoken English is necessary,
- 3+ years of experience in an MNC is preferred,
- System experience will be a distinct advantage; SFDC, BMI, NGQ, etc
- The ideal candidate will be analytically minded; a decisive problem solver; focused, organized & driven; self-starter; have strong communication skills; passion & pride in their work; flexibility to adjust to requirements and ability operate in a dynamic and fast changing environment
