We are seeking an experienced and strategic Country Manager to lead JD Logistics’ operations in Singapore and Malaysia. This role will be responsible for developing and executing the country-level business strategy, overseeing logistics operations, driving business growth, and ensuring operational excellence. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics, supply chain management, and e-commerce, with proven leadership experience in managing teams and business expansion in Southeast Asia.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Strategy & Expansion: Develop and implement strategic plans for market expansion, customer acquisition, and revenue growth in Singapore and Malaysia.
- Operational Leadership: Oversee end-to-end logistics operations, including warehousing, fulfillment, transportation, and last-mile delivery.
- P&L Management: Drive profitability by optimizing operational costs, improving efficiency, and managing financial performance.
- Market Development: Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and key clients to strengthen JD Logistics’ market position.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all logistics and business operations comply with local laws, industry regulations, and corporate policies.
- Team Leadership & Development: Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and innovation.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal teams, local government agencies, partners, and clients to enhance service offerings and operational capabilities.
- Technology & Innovation: Leverage technology and data analytics to drive process improvements, automation, and operational efficiency.
Key Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA preferred.
- Experience:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or e-commerce industries.
- Strong leadership experience in managing cross-functional teams across multiple locations.
- Proven track record of driving business growth and managing P&L in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working with international logistics networks and last-mile delivery solutions.
- Skills & Competencies:
- Strong business acumen and strategic thinking.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to analyze market trends and translate insights into actionable strategies.
- Strong understanding of logistics technologies, digital platforms, and automation in supply chain management.
- Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Mandarin is a plus for communication with headquarters.
