Job Description
The Role
The role reports to the Senior Regional HR Business Partner for SEEK Asia with a dotted line reporting to the Managing Director of Thailand. The role involves working with the Regional and Country leadership team to drive people programs and initiatives, promoting a high performance and engaged culture. This is a leadership role and the incumbent will 2 other direct reports within the People & Culture team
Key Accountabilities
Act as a trusted advisor to the country leadership team and Managers' and focuses on nurturing and supporting our greatest asset—our people. It encompasses talent acquisition, employee development, engagement strategies, employee and industrial relation and fostering a positive workplace culture. We prioritize effective communication, collaboration, and well-being, ensuring that every team member thrives and contributes to our shared goals. We do so by providing expertise, support and mentor in all aspects of HR management.
- Plan and implement HR and people initiatives and change programs in alignment with the business goals and strategies
- Manage the constant improvement and delivery of people and HR processes, policies and practices which includes development and retention, annual performance management, compensation and benefits review, learning and development activities, organisational design support, employee engagement and wellbeing programs and organisation wide communication
- Collaborate closely with other HR teams to deliver on the people programs either on a APAC, Regional or country level
- Lead all aspects of all compliance and governance requirements relating to people matters to ensure risks are effectively managed
- Lead a HR team locally including being responsible for in country Rem & Benefit and Talent Acquisition activities.
Qualifications
The successful candidate will have:
- Bachelor’s degree or MBA in human resources, business studies, IT, engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in HR role gained from sizable and multinational companies in dynamic and fast-paced industry.
- Demonstrable track record in implementing and driving progressive HR practices, initiatives and programs based on analytical HR data trend
- Excellent interpersonal skills with good communication skill and written English
- Ability to “mentor” and influence leadership on people & culture matters
- Collaborative and empathetic work style with a high degree of humility
- A passion for the online industry and bias towards innovative cultures
- Possess a business partnering and service approach when dealing with the various partners. Ability to work independently and cope with ambiguity.
