About the Role: As a Country General Manager Germany at CHEP, you will drive business success in a complex and fast-moving market. You will own the P&L, optimize operations, and lead strategic growth. This role offers a real impact—expanding market presence, ensuring customer satisfaction, and building an engaged workforce. Key Responsibilities may include:
- Develop and execute growth strategies to expand market share, increase profitability, and defend against competition in alignment with global objectives.
- Own and manage the P&L for the region, ensuring financial performance targets are met, and driving cost optimization initiatives.
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with key market stakeholders, partners, and customers to gain insights, understand needs, and enhance business offerings.
- Lead the transformation and innovation of business processes to improve operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and competitive advantage.
- Foster a culture of customer-centricity at all levels, driving measurable improvements in customer service, retention, and satisfaction.
- Ensure legal compliance and adherence to group best practices and standards in all business operations and processes.
- Develop a sustainable talent pipeline, ensuring the ongoing development of high-performing teams to deliver for customers and create an exceptional workplace for employees.
- Collaborate with global and other regional teams to align strategies and ensure consistent delivery of corporate objectives across the region.
