In this role, you will:

Draft and negotiate a wide variety of agreements, in collaboration with partners, clients and colleagues
-
Provide business-focused, risk-based advice to clients and work in a collaborative, team-based environment
-
Support various third-party matters, including third-party contract remediation efforts, artificial intelligence issues, professional services arrangements, technology contracting, software licenses, market data, free and open-source software, regulatory support, hosted technology, and novel technology issues, among others
-
Review and analyze matters that require research, evaluation and selection of alternatives, and exercise independent judgment to guide medium risk deliveries
-
Participate in initiatives of varying scope and complexity and identify opportunities for process improvements

Support the work of more junior counsel along with professional staff on complex matters
-
Present recommendations for challenging situations and exercise independent judgment while developing expertise in policies, procedures, and compliance requirements

Provide leadership and direction on internal initiatives
-
Advise on the impact of policy, legal, and regulatory changes
-
Provide support and guidance to colleagues or paralegals
-
Collaborate with functional colleagues, internal partners, and stakeholders
-
Partner with business leaders and management of other corporate departments to develop and implement risk management programs
Required Qualifications:
-
2+ years of Law experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Active State Bar membership

Bank regulatory experience

Ability to research law and regulations and develop advice with respect to complex legal issues using public as well as company websites and databases.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced complex environment with a high degree of collaboration.

Pay Range
Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
$96,600.00 - $171,800.00
