Ultradent, a global name in oral health, is seeking a Cost Accountant. The primary role of a Cost Accountant is to ensure item costs are accurate. This is done by regularly auditing product costs, bills of material, routings and manufacturing processes. Some common assignments you can expect in this role include:
- Evaluate costs related to manufacturing processes
- Support manufacturing teams during pilot and production runs
- Conduct time studies in manufacturing areas
- Create and maintain resources and routings
- Correct costing errors
- Analyze and deliver costing report insights
- Prepare COGS estimates for decision making and to support NPV analysis
What You’ll Need to Succeed:
- Business oriented bachelor’s degree, preferably in accounting
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
- Strong analytical skills
What We’re Looking for in You:
- Excellent communication, presentation, and follow up skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment; also able to work well individually
- Constantly looking for ways to improve processes
- Ability to prioritize and complete competing obligations on time, with accuracy, and with exceptional quality
- Prior work experience in a manufacturing environment preferred but not required
