Salary range: $50k-$75k. Factors including past experience and location may affect final compensation rate.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Proactively manage tracking of contract reviews, including communicating directly with customers and other departments to provide status updates and obtain approvals
  • Gather and review documents for responding to discovery requests and subpoenas
  • Summarize records, redline changes in draft contracts, and final contract terms
  • Assist with drafting, reviewing and revising legal documents including master service agreements, equipment leases, equipment purchase agreements, real estate leases, employment contracts, responsive pleadings, and discovery requests and responses 
  • Assist with litigation matters by collecting and maintaining case files and responding to requests from outside counsel
  • Maintain organized legal files
  • Track litigation and other deadlines
  • Review legal invoices from outside counsel
  • Prepare PowerPoint presentations for legal training
  • Coordinate logistics for trainings led by the Legal Department
  • Monitor compliance with contract requirements including by creating and maintaining central database of contract information
  • Assist with licensing and compliance activities for new market setups including filing applications for business licenses and foreign entity qualifications, keeping track of deadlines and filing annual reports and licensing renewals 
  • Provide administrative support
  • Word processing and formatting for legal documents

Education/Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or paralegal certification required
  • At least three to five years of corporate legal department or law firm experience required (Experience in equipment finance or rental industry is preferred)
