Summary of Program

Summary of Position

Support the Corporate Development team in day-to-day M&A deal management and due diligence.  The activities will include bespoke market research and commercial due diligence of potential and live M&A targets.  

 

Intern Duties & Responsibilities

Business Strategy:
·         Gain understanding of the strategy of Jabil key business segments.
·         Assist in the definition, development and implementation of the M&A strategy, which contributes to execution of the business segment strategy.
·         Perform research on EMS industry and the sub-sectors integral to business segment growth.
·         Gather information on potential M&A targets and package into meaningful findings for the Corporate Development team.

·         Contribute to the team's forecasting and valuation efforts by auditing financial models and analysing the efficacy of forecast model inputs.   If possible, prepare discrete valuation model as a means to validate accuracy of team valuation models.

Major(s): Finance, Marketing, Economics

Class Year(s): Rising Junior, Rising Senior, or Recent Graduate  

GPA: Min 3.0

Availability: Must be available to work in St. Petersburg Florida from May 19, 2025 – Aug 8, 2025

Technical Skills: Excel, Powerpoint, Word

Effective Communication
