Our in-house legal team is looking for a highly motivated, pragmatic and commercially minded lawyer to assist our business teams across a variety of practice areas, including technology transactions, compliance, IP and litigation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Draft, review, and negotiate a broad range and high volume of commercial agreements, including SaaS, software licensing, channel partner, DPA and professional services agreements.
  • Lead and control the contract negotiations with sophisticated counter-parties, focusing on addressing critical sources of risk and getting comfortable identifying and accepting manageable risk.
  • Develop relationships with key individuals to establish yourself as a trusted advisor
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, customer support, product, engineering, finance, and other departments at all levels throughout the organization.
  • Advise business teams on applicable laws and regulations.
  • Assist with special projects including intellectual property, insurance, regulatory and other strategic matters

Qualifications and Experience

  • Law degree.
  • 2 - 6 years PQE, with technology and transactional experience gained in private practice and/or in-house (although particularly strong candidates with fewer years of experience are encouraged to apply).
  • Proficiency in managing matters that span several jurisdictions is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial contracts, revenue recognition issues, IP, privacy and business law.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Great judgment even in ambiguous situations.
  • Customer and internal-client focused self-starter with the ability to prioritize effectively and work well with colleagues across businesses and geographies in a fast-paced environment
  • Fluency in English required, other languages are a plus
