We are seeking a Corporate Accounting Specialist to join our Finance team in Chiasso HQ and support our global accounting efforts. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with a strong foundation in IFRS accounting standards and 2 to 3 years of experience working with major audit firms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and maintain best practices in accounting processes.
- Assist in preparing and analyzing financial statements, ensuring accuracy and integrity.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to enhance financial reporting processes.
- Navigate complex accounting challenges and provide solutions to support business objectives.
- Support audits and regulatory reporting requirements.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in accounting operations.
Qualifications & Experience:
- 2 to 3 years of experience in accounting, preferably with a major audit firm.
- Strong knowledge and practical experience with IFRS accounting standards.
- Educational background in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification is a plus.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a high level of attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Fluency in English.
