Job Description
MileOne Autogroup is now hiring an internal Accountant for our corporate Finance department.
This individual will work with a dynamic, and proactive, group of Accounting professionals who are focused on the financial support and services of our 66 dealership locations as well as partner companies. This position will be onsite at our corporate location in Towson, MD.
Essential duties include:
- Responsible for the preparation of month end consolidated financial statements
- Responsible for preparation of monthly management reports
- Maintain fixed asset file for dealerships and holding companies
- Compiling information for PPT filings
- Compiling information for 1099 filings
- Assist with preparation of audit/tax workpapers
- Assist without outside vendor information request
- Assist CAO and controller with daily operations of the finance department
- Responsible for posting daily bank activity
- Responsible for month end adjusting journal entries and account reconciliation of holding companies
- Assist with balance sheet audits of various dealerships
Qualifications:
- 5 years of Accounting experience
- Attention to detail with the ability to multitask as well as ability to pivot as business needs change
- Familiar with below software
- Quickbooks Desktop
- Sage Fixed Assets
- Caseware
- LeaseQuery
- Reynolds & Reynolds
- CDK
- Dealership experience is a plus but not required
