About the role:
As the Corporate Account Executive, you will be responsible for spearheading and executing a sales strategy to penetrate a new vertical into the corporate market. You will identify potential clients, build relationships, and manage the sales process from prospecting to closing. This position requires a proactive and entrepreneurial mindset, with a focus on results and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment. This role will collaborate directly with the marketing and product heads and provide executive leadership updates. 

This position reports to the VP of Sales.

Responsibilities:

  • From the ground up, develop and lead a comprehensive sales strategy to target corporate clients and expand Mentor Collective’s presence in the corporate market.
  • Identify, qualify, and hone our ideal buyer through research, networking, and outreach efforts with potential corporate partners.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, including Human Resource (HR) leaders, Learning & Development professionals, and executives.
  • Showcase the value of Mentor Collective’s mentoring solutions in meetings with potential clients while helping to develop customized solutions, address customer needs, and achieve a high close rate.
  • Learn and strategically adopt our existing Higher Ed sales process to meet the needs of a dynamic new industry and create best practices for this section of the business.
  • Manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting to contract negotiation and closing, ensuring a smooth onboarding process for new clients.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing and product development, to align sales strategies with company goals and customer needs.
  • Track and report on sales metrics, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.

Job Requirements:

  • 10+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably in a startup environment or a related field.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
  • 75% EST working hours overlap.
  • U.S. work authorization required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proven experience developing a new territory from the ground up. 
  • Entrepreneurial spirit with a proactive approach to problem-solving and opportunity identification.
  • Familiarity with mentoring, Learning & Development, or employee engagement solutions is a plus.

Compensation: $125,000 - $135,000 per year, based on experience. (This range outlines the base salary amount and is determined by experience. Total compensation would include base & variable compensation.) This is a Full-Time, Exempt position.
