This is a full-time W2 position in West Palm Beach, FL.

PublicSquare is a technology-enabled Marketplace & Payments ecosystem that serves an audience of consumers and merchants who value life, family, and liberty.  PublicSquare operates under three segments: Marketplace, Financial Technology, and Brands. The primary mission of the Marketplace segment is to help consumers “shop their values” and put purpose behind their purchases. PublicSquare’s Financial Technology segment includes Credova, a consumer financing and payments company. PublicSquare’s Brands segment consists of D2C companies, like EveryLife, a premium life-affirming baby products company.

As a Copywriter for our marketplace division, you’ll play a pivotal role in introducing our customers to our best merchants and products. With a foundation in empathy and results, you'll help guide the brand’s voice across the website, social, and email.

Your Mission

Your clear, hopeful language will compliment rich, inspiring visuals - telling our story by telling their stories.
Lead with Insight, Act with Purpose: Your approach will blend deep customer insights with a steadfast commitment to the details of execution. This unique combination of wisdom and action will animate a narrative that drives marketplace growth.  The successful candidate will be a creative professional whose primary responsibility will require imagination, originality and talent.

Responsibilities

  • Write compelling copy on schedule for a range of channels, including website content, email campaigns, blog posts, and social media.
  • Connect with our customers to gain insights into their struggles and aspirations, using this understanding to craft messages that resonate.
  • Research our assortment and related topics to help communicate quality and inform purchase confidence.
  • Leverage AI tools to scale your impact in alignment with brand standards.
  • Utilize customer data and feedback to optimize content for conversion and SEO impact.
  • Work cross-functionally with marketing, merchandising, sales, and experience teams to ensure a cohesive narrative across touchpoints.
  • Maintain copywriting guidelines to ensure consistency of brand voice with the broader organization.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 5 years experience in copywriting, preferably for direct-to-consumer and eCommerce brands.
  • Experience with AI, SEO, and analytics tools in your writing workflow.
  • A keen eye for detail, with an understanding of the nuances of language and context in branding.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, English, Journalism, or experience in a related field.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including designers, photographers, and product engineers.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with a knack for balancing creativity with clarity to motivate specific customer behaviors.
  • Outstanding time management abilities in support of iterative delivery and seamless coordination with partners.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and a curiosity to embrace new technologies that enhance content creation and distribution.
