Job Description:
This is a remote opportunity, open to anyone in the US.
We are looking for a copywriter to work on an exciting client in the emerging technology space. As a writer, you will need to work well with other departments and be comfortable working with clients and presenting their own work. The work ranges from scripts for educational videos to point-of-sale marketing materials. You are prepared to do research and be able to take a complicated idea and turn it into a simple message that educates consumers on a new product. You will be reporting to the Associate Creative Director, Creative Development. This is an individual contributor position.
As a copywriter you will work across mixed-discipline teams to create ideas for a variety of projects from advertising materials to naming assignments. You are nimble in respect to pivots and changes in plans and able to work collaboratively with your teammates to create some of the highest quality work in the category.
Knowledge and Skills:Qualifications:
- Work with Strategy and Account to develop strategic and creative approaches.
- Understand the strategic intent of specific projects and audience/customer goals.
- Create and cultivate useful and usable ideas across existing and emerging digital platforms.
- Train and manage other writers.
- Work with the Creative Directors to improve on the agency’s creative product - both traditional/B2B and digital.
- Lead efforts to develop creative concepts and execute within a cross-disciplinary team.
- Set creative direction and provide hands-on guidance throughout the project life cycle.
- Develop solutions that have a positive impact on users and the client’s business.
- 3+ years of experience
- Experience presenting creative work to clients.
- Knowledge of Figma, Dropbox, Adobe Creative Cloud, and SharePoint.
- Conceptualize an audience journey based on strategic insights and client goals.
- A desire to go above and beyond a client’s deliverables.
Additional information
The annual salary range for this position is $51,000 - $83,375. Placement within the salary range is based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other factors permitted by law.
