We seek a creative and experienced CopyWriter/Editor/Proofreader to join our team. As a CopyWriter/Editor/Proofreader, you will research, design, write, proofread, edit, and publish interesting and relevant digital marketing-related content to ensure that it matches the tone and voice of the business across different social nodes

You will be instrumental in creating captivating and useful content that resonates with our target audience. Our ideal candidate is a team-spirited, skilled, and imaginative writer with an eye for detail. If you can grasp project requirements quickly and offer valuable insight, we’d like to meet you!

Responsibilities:

  • Meticulously review case studies, banner ads, text ads, display ads, and video scripts to ensure there are no grammatical/spelling errors 
  • Edit and proof work to ensure high editorial standards are met across all content outputs
  • Ensure consistency in language, brand guidelines, and formatting to elevate the readability and impact of written works.
  • Creating compelling headlines and body copy for ad units, paid and organic posts that will capture the attention of the target audience.
  • Review communication trends for the U.S. market based on the target audience to create creative copy and captions that meet the specific objective (brand awareness, lead generation, e-commerce sales, among others).
  • Create engaging content for advertising campaigns, website material, social media posts, email marketing, among others.
  • Using research to establish the appropriate strategy for reaching out to the target audience
  •  Identifying customers’ needs and recommending new content to address gaps in the company's current content.
  • Feeding and maintain editorial calendar for clients
  • Formulating and integrating keywords for Search Engine Optimization (SEO)

Requirements:

  • Professional English copywriter, editor, or proofreader
  • Exceptional command of the English language and written English communication
  • Proven content writing or copywriting experience
  • Experience with digital marketing/advertising agencies
  • Working knowledge of content management systems.
  • A portfolio of published articles, posts or web pages
  • A keen eye for detail and appreciation of great design
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • The ability to handle multiple projects concurrently and deliver work within timelines.

Schedule

  • Full time (9 AM EST to 6 PM EST)
  • Part-time (9 AM to 1:00 PM EST or 2 PM to 6 PM EST)


Home Office Requirements:

  • Stable internet connection with at least 50 Mbps postpaid (must provide a screenshot of a speed test)
  • Computer (at least 16GB RAM and Intel i5 core processor equivalent or up)
  • Noise Cancelling Headset
  • Backup Internet Connection (Prepaid Home WIFI Router or Pocket WIFI) and Power Outage Backup
  • Dual Monitor
