Job Summary
The Delaware campus Frontliners Coordinator coordinates the function or program directly related to College business operations where the primary duty involves experience, discretion and independent judgment in guiding and administering the program or function. Facilitates the work of others on a team or within the department, and as a lead worker, provides direction and guidance regarding job methods, standards and operations.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Department Coordination
- Formulates, affects, interprets, and/or implements management policies or operating practices and carries out major assignments that affect business operations.
- As directed by leadership, commits the College in matters that have significant impact.
- Works with College leadership in planning long or short-term business objectives.
- Investigates and resolves matters of significance with direction of Supervisor. Monitors work performed by others, provides guidance regarding work methods and standards, and provides direction to help ensure that work is completed timely and in accordance with College and program standards.
- Maintains confidentiality and appropriate records. Coordinates the job function or program.
- Maintains authority to formulate, affect, interpret, or implement management policies or operating practices and carries out major assignments that affects business operations.
- Maintains authority to waive or deviate from established policies and procedures without prior approval.
- Maintains authority to negotiate and bind the College on significant matters. Works with College administrators in planning long or short-term business objectives.
- Provides input for institutional protocols and technical support or training for systems and networks.
- Acts as a link between end users and higher-level support.
- Installs and configures software and hardware (printers, network cards etc.)
- Monitors system and network performance.
- Performs troubleshooting, repairs, data restoration, and maintenance activities (e.g. regular updates).
Communication & Collaboration
- Provides a high touch in handling community partners, students, administrators, faculty, and staff. Ensures a high level of customer response.
- Collaborates with other departments, as needed, to ensure quality work delivery.
Administrative
- Completes all paperwork in a timely manner. Creates spreadsheets, performs data entry, and presents information, as directed.

- Fosters and maintains a safe environment of respect and inclusion for faculty, staff, students, and members of the community
Additional Duties & Responsibilities:
- Attends all required departmental meetings and trainings.
- Works a flexible schedule Monday-Friday between 7 AM - 4 PM, including some Saturdays, as needed for business demands.
MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Associate's Degree in Computer Science or closely related field.
- One (1) year of progressively responsible computer experience.
*An appropriate combination of education, training, coursework and experience may qualify a candidate.
