Summary:
The Coordinator, Events & Sponsorships is responsible for coordinating and providing technical assistance for Freedom Mortgage events, conferences, sponsorships, and philanthropic initiatives. The Events & Sponsorships Coordinator works closely with the Public Relations team to ensure programs are consistent with Brand and Corporate goals. The position reports to the Director, Corporate Events & Sponsorships.
This position will be Hybrid to the Marlton, NJ Office.
Essential Job Functions:

Coordinates and organizes company special events, conferences, and philanthropic programs.

Collaborates with marketing on event materials and communication timelines.

Coordinates brand promotional merchandise.

Sets up space and displays promotional materials.

Coordinates and plans event & meeting deliverables: site selection, event design, event production, merchandise, marketing and communications.

Coordinates with onsite event operations and implementation.

Provides technical assistance for events and conferences.

Administers event email distribution lists, tracks and organizes event data.

Identifies and proposes new event opportunities and enhancements for existing efforts.

Tracks to ensure sponsorship benefits and obligations are being met both internally and externally.

Coordinates contests and sweepstakes: timelines, promotion, and prizing.

Coordinates ticket operations: inventory, distribution and promotion.

Renews and coordinates company’s memberships and associated benefits.

Oversees accounting and invoicing for PR department.

The position is a hybrid position based out of Marlton, MJ.

Maintain regular and punctual attendance.

Strong computer skills including data and file management.

Proficiency in Microsoft Suites: Word, Power Point, Excel. Experience with event software: Cvent and BidPal preferred. Additional IT and technical skills a plus.

Understanding of mortgage, banking or real estate industry a plus
Education and/or Experience:
-
Bachelor’s degree in event management, marketing or related field.
-
One (1) to two (2) years of experience with special events.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
None required.
Language Skills:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or government regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, and percentages.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Extensive contact with others and usually involves, several areas. Typically handles highly sensitive and/or confidential information.
