All about the role:

You will be part of our growing Controls System Development Team inside the Global Technology – R&D. You will work closely with Product development, HW & SW teams, Laboratories, and other relevant departments to ideate define and specify system architecture in line with the Global Technology guidelines and roadmaps while being accountable for leading the delivery of the modules the system is comprised of. The exciting everyday responsibility is to be part of the full product lifecycle, from its concept to the production and beyond.

What you’ll do:

  • Support electrical/electronic controls components definition in the product project working groups 

  • Represent Technology Electronic team in the product Architecture projects (Global and Regional) 

  • Contribute to the products Generation Plan implementation by proper alignment to the Electronic Technology Roadmap 

  • Work with HW and SW team to define proper Electronic functionality on the final product 

  • Prepare the electrical components documentation assuring compliance with product specification and to Technology domain guidelines 

  • Make available the electrical/electronic components prototypes/sample for product development projects (i.e. FFP, DVT, etc.) 

  • Drive electrical components validation process according to Supply Specification and safety requirements 

  • Support safety certification of products, new products introduction, cost reduction actions, quality corrective action, modularization activities and innovation activities related to the electrical/electronic components 

  • Lead specific Modules projects 

Where you’ll be:

In Italy-Susegana Plant. Group and European Food Preservation R&D, Group Purchasing Competence Center, Electrolux Logistics. Local dpt: IT, EHS, Finance, Product Care, Group Manufacturing, HR and Purchasing.

Qualifications:

  • A Master's degree in electrical /electronic engineering or equivalent. 

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in project management in a similar context 

  • Knowledge of product development processes and project management skills.  

  • Exposure to international programs/internships is considered as a plus.  

  • Knowledge of refrigerators production processes is a plus 

  • Adaptive. You like challenges and you are flexible to adapt to new situations and contexts.  

  • Team player. In this role cross-functional collaboration is everything, so you should like to work in groups as well as on your own. 

  • Good listener and communicator. You will become the spider in the web and work with other departments daily - therefore these attributes are key for making projects run smoothly.  

  • Fluent in English
