Job Description: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Working Student to join our finance team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in accounting and finance within a dynamic and innovative company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the preparation of financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and other financial documents.
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate financial records.
- Support the finance team with month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Help with accounts receivable, accounts payable, and bank statement reconciliation.
- Assist in the preparation and filing of tax returns.
- Participate in audits and help resolve discrepancies.
- Update financial data in databases to ensure accuracy and integrity.
- Attend meetings and training sessions to enhance your accounting knowledge and skills.
Requirements:
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Knowledge of German accounting principles and practices needed, IFRS desired.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills in both German and English.
