Job Responsibilities:
About the Role: The Corporate Accounting Department is responsible for all Corporate activities in the United States. Following a recent SAP implementation, the team is looking for a strong Manager, Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable to help drive efficiencies and process improvements while developing a team of 3, including remote staff. The successful candidate is a proven Leader with experience in developing and implementing polices.
Your Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of AP/AR Administrators, both on-site and remote.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures designed to create efficiencies.
  • Review coding, expenses, and other team deliverables.
  • Work with Stakeholders to resolve issues and maintain proper flow of transactions.
  • Review escalated items and work to create positive resolutions.
  • Create and communicate weekly cash forecasting.
  • Support internal and external audit process.
  • Develop, create, and maintain advanced reports for ad-hoc and recurring analysis.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Director, Finance & Corporate Administration


Who we are looking for:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration
  • 5+ years' Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable experience
  • 2+ years' experience in a Manager role with multiple direct reports.
  • Intermediate experience in MS Office (Excel), including pivot tables and working with advanced reconciliations.
  • Working knowledge of multi-currency transactions and accrual accounting concepts.


Your Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with SAP (S4HANA) would be considered an asset.
  • Strong time management and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills
  • Collaborator with strong interpersonal skills and ability to work independently while providing support & analysis to the Corporate Accounting Team
