We have partnered with an established non-profit organization who is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Controller to oversee all aspects of financial management, including accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, and internal control functions.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll, ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and analyses.
- Establish and maintain robust internal control policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and accounting standards, coordinating audits and reviews by external auditors and regulatory agencies.
- Provide financial analysis, insights, and recommendations to support strategic decision-making, resource allocation, and revenue optimization efforts.
- Oversee the financial administration of grants and contracts, ensuring compliance with grant requirements and reporting obligations.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of finance professionals.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 6 years of progressive financial leadership experience.
- Proven experience in the non-profit sector.
- NetSuite experience is preferred.
- Excellent analytical and strategic thinking skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
