Description:
• The Contracts Manager is responsible for administration of Government contracts and subcontracts and provides guidance on complex contractual issues to support our Corporate office across multiple agencies and programs.
• Provide data and support for proposals, negotiate and administer contracts, subcontracts and consultant agreements for government and commercial projects in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.
• Draft and negotiate Nondisclosure Agreements and Teaming Agreements in support of proposals.
• Develop strong relationships with Government Contracting Officers, Contract Specialists, CORs and suppliers/subcontractors. Serve as the singular point-of-contact for contractual matters for PingWind.
• Maintain records, correspondence and documentation related to proposals, contracts, subcontracts on Corporate SharePoint drive.
• Coordinate with Program Managers to provide guidance on contractual requirements, technical issues, and ensure contract requirements are fulfilled.
• Communicate contract-related matters and information to internal stakeholders.
• Monitor contract funding and process modifications and draft correspondence related to extensions or renewal in accordance with contract terms and conditions.
• Regularly interact and collaborate with Program Managers, other Contracts Dept. staff, Project Control, Finance/Accounting, Business Development.
• Solve any contract-related problems that may arise with other parties and internally with the company itself.
Requirements:
Required Knowledge and Abilities:
• Must have strong working knowledge of Federal Government contracts, subcontracts, all contract types and of FAR/DFARS clauses to effectively manage a variety of contracts and subcontracts
• Must have excellent written and verbal communication/presentation skills and interpersonal skills to deal effectively with executive management and staff regarding Contracts
• Must have excellent negotiation and judgment skills for interpreting complex contractual terms and conditions
• Action-oriented, self-motivated individual who can lead a team and work independently with strong organizational skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
Educational Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in a Business-related curriculum and 7-10 years of prior relevant experience with Federal Government contract and subcontract administration.
Desirable Knowledge and Abilities:
• Familiarity with Joint Ventures and JV Operating Agreements
• Functional knowledge of Deltek CostPoint and SharePoint is highly desirable
• Strong Excel spreadsheet skills for preparing budgets, pricing and reports
