Job Description
We are part of Allegro. As a Linguistic Quality Assurance Specialist you will be involved in the Translation Quality Assurance (TQA) program enabling the expansion of Allegro.pl services into the foreign markets.
We are looking for people with:
-
Native or C2 knowledge of Czech
-
English C1 level
-
Polish B1 level
-
Experience using CAT Tools
-
At least 2 years translation experience
The following are also a plus:
-
Degree in Linguistics/Translation/Localization or related fields

Ability to use metrics to back up assumptions and evaluate outcomes
-
Experience with python scripting and text processing libraries

Basic knowledge of regular expressions

Ability to invent and simplify to enhance and expand use of existing tools, evaluating new tools and technologies for future development

Experience in Marketing, creative writing
In your daily work you will handle the following tasks:
-
Reviewing and evaluating translated content, performing translation quality assessment
-
Providing feedback to translators based on quality reports
-
Identifying, documenting and correcting localization errors
-
Creating and updating style guides, glossaries and other common guidelines
-
Ensuring translation consistency in accordance with the language-specific guidelines
-
Translation, proofreading and status update of translated projects
-
Performing translation quality assessment and other data annotation for data in local languages and preparing annotation quality reports

Machine translation error verification, creating and applying fixes
-
Consulting on quality control tools and machine learning systems development
-
Collecting requirements to prepare recommendations for localization of various content types

Gathering internal know-how to improve the quality of provisioned services
