As the contract & supplier manager you are responsible to manage the supply chain that delivers the Asset Management and Maintenance outsourced services.

The Corporate Real Estate (CRE) organization is a centralized department that is responsible for CRE activities worldwide, serving >40,000 employees.
Role and responsibilities
As the Contract & Supplier Manager you are responsible to manage the supply chain that delivers the Asset Management and Maintenance outsourced services. Your core task is to optimize the supply chain and build partnerships with suppliers to ensure consistent and aligned services, (future) flexibility and continuous improvement.
You act as demand manager for your parcels and thus need to know the internal customers, the business processes, and their (future) demand.
In collaboration with the procurement & sourcing team you ensure the necessary capacity and capabilities in the supplier base and monitor their performance. You drive continuous improvements with the suppliers. You define budgets, create forecasts and approve expense. Focus on the financial- & performance management, and contract development.
You will be participating in translating and/or changed into contracts, service levels and service agreements. You develop the strategies and determine what types of contract models and service agreements support these developments. You investigate market opportunities, execute tenders and establish a strong contractual basis with suppliers.
Peers in your team are the Asset Management Specialists, Risk & Reliability Manager, Business Analyst, Innovation & Sustainability Manager and Quality & Compliance Manager. But you also work closely with the Technical Facility Managers ensuring optimal service delivery.
You will report to the Manager Strategic Asset Management.
In addition to the tasked and responsibilities primarily listed above, the following tasks also apply to this position:
- Evaluate if the business needs (now and future) are met with the contracted service concepts, SLA's, KPI's and other contract specifications, and coordinate necessary long term / structural actions, changes and improvements.
- Based on annual activities plans, create, monitor, justify, maintain, adjust the annual financial plan (budget) and forecasts per service line.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive system for performance management and metrics to monitor supplier performance and contract-compliance.
- Manage supplier reporting process (availability of reports and dashboards).
- Manage the operational evaluation process for the supplier performance (like Operational/Quarterly/Strategic Business Reviews), and ensure necessary actions, changes or improvements are implemented.
- Initiate and stimulate structural product and quality development together with suppliers and the CRE F&M content experts by developing requirements and contractual conditions that are essential to run innovation processes or to achieve a next level partnership.
- Develop product and services catalogues.
Education and experience
You have a bachelor or master degree in sourcing/contract and supplier management or similar.
- Job experience +/- 5 -10 years in similar role.
