The Contract Pricing Analyst is responsible for the analysis, implementation & maintenance of pricing for assigned customer contracts based on the compliance of written customer agreements within the SAP enterprise system. To ensure success as a Contract Pricing Analyst, you should possess sound knowledge of quantitative and qualitative data analysis methods and experience in a similar role. An accomplished Contract Pricing Analyst is someone who can translate pricing data into actionable profit-enhancing strategies while maintaining compliance with the governing contract. The Analyst will collaborate with internal customers at all levels within Sales and Operations and should possess confident communication skills and be able to collaborate with Sales and Operations on developing and implementing competitive pricing strategies.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assess data from a variety of sources to recommend pricing strategies that align closely with market trends and segments.
- Read and understand contract agreements to implement and maintain pricing in SAP for contract compliance.
- Apply statistical modeling methods to determine the potential impact of pricing strategies on profitability.
- Collaborate with sales and operations on developing and implementing competitive pricing strategies while maintaining contract compliance.
- Track customer engagement to develop effective pricing strategies for products and offerings.
- Prepare and present pricing analysis findings to sales and operations.
- Forecast revenue and market share based on market trends, costs, and sales volumes.
- Help enforce strategies to move from margin culture to resale price competitiveness per region, industry type, product type, and customer type.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in mathematics, statistics, finance, or economics, is preferred.
- A minimum of two years' experience as a pricing analyst in a similar industry.
- Accomplished analytical skills along with advanced oral and written communication skills.
- Advanced MS Excel skills required. SAP and Power BI skills is preferred.
- Proficiency in business intelligence (BI) software.
- Effectively and efficiently organize time and prioritize tasks.
- Must be meticulous/detail oriented in various aspects of the role.
- Experience in collaborating on pricing strategies with Sales and Operations.
- Advanced ability to present pricing analysis reports and lead discussions with relevant stakeholders.
- Great attitude, entrepreneurial mindset, and eager desire to learn.
- In-depth knowledge of statistical methods and data analysis.
- Extensive experience in analyzing pricing strategies and forecasting revenue and market share.
- Understanding of various customer markets and/or product knowledge.
