About the Role
The Contract Administration Specialist II will provide administrative and project support for customer onboarding, carrier bids, and updates to carrier’s rating documents.
What the Candidate Will Do
- Know and understand customer contracts structures, customer’s safety, security, insurance requirement and liability limits for use in reviewing and approving rate schedules and associations
- Participate as part of the customer onboarding team to execute the Contract Administration requirements of a customer contract and within the onboarding timeline
- Create or review rate schedules for sending to carriers for signature
- Maintain document trackers for communications with Onboarding, Procurement and Operations teams
- Support Accounts Payable with rate discrepancy research with document and TMS review
- Help assign items in Pricing Teams email inbox to individuals for working and answer questions on onboarding, procurement, or other projects
- Run credit check on requests to contract outside brokers and compare to company setup requirements
- Be available to answer any questions from the account that may arise on TL accessorial
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Contracting policies / procedures
Basic Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- 2-4 years of related experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years in transportation or contracting
- Proficient computer skills with experience with Microsoft Office
- Proficient in 10-key
- Bilingual in Spanish a plus
