Job Description:

   

We are looking for Contra Revenue Financial Analyst to join our team!

How you’ll make your mark:

  • Controlling of right level of booked positions and performing corrections through JV re-class bookings, as well as requesting corrections from other parties based on own analysis and customer requests.

  • Preparation of financial forecast/flash/ budget and exit estimations (FDE) on monthly, quarterly or yearly basis and sharing this information with business finance in the agreed way & time.

  • Monthly reporting of accrual levels and quarterly reporting & analysis for Balance Sheet Review Purposes.

  • Ad-hoc analysis regarding contra revenue – on sales finance or management requests.

  • Data analysis in the area of partners payments – payments ageing, trend analysis. Delivering analysis to the customers in the agreed form and timing.

  • Validation of Partners (Distributors and Resellers) Channel Compensation Bonuses.

  • Monitoring and maintaining all contra balance sheet accounts.

  • Maintains all contra balance sheet accounts by preparing and/or reviewing reconciliations and analytical reviews, performing account analysis and accounting entries.

  • Ensure  Sarbanes Oxley compliance.

  • Participation and cooperation with internal and external audits.

  • Identification and implementation of standardization and optimization projects related to booking, reserve calculation, control and reporting for contra revenue.

  • Leading internal team projects; active engagement in Sales Finance and Wroclaw CoE initiatives.

  • Leading internal trainings from own area of expertise, coaching for less experienced team members.

  • Back up for other team member in the specific situations, considering own knowledge and skills.

  • Ensure proper process documentation and record retention.

  • Participate in other projects and fulfill duties assigned by management.

  • Potential to learn and increase SQL knowledge within database used.

About you:

  • Ensure that tasks are completed properly within specified deadlines and quality parameters.

  • Deliver constant high quality performance, focusing on details and accuracy.

  • Escalate observed irregularities to direct superiors.

  • Spread out and promote company’s corporate culture and positive image of HPE outside the company.

  • Build good relationship with customer and team members.

  • Maintain strong and relevant communication standards.

  • Support other team members and functional groups.

  • Comply with company’s ethical standards (Standards of Business Conduct, HPE Way, HPE Values and others) while executing daily functions.

  • 4+  years of experience in Finance/ Accounting/ Controlling.

  • Strong analytical skills.

  • Experience in month end closing processes.

  • Fluent knowledge of SAP , MS Office (especially Excel).

  • Positive attitude in the area of corporate communication, customer oriented attitude.

  • Ability to work in a multicultural environment

  • Ability to work as a team member/independently.

  • Independency, accuracy, keen on learning.

  • Ability to manage time and prioritizing.

  • Ability to work in a changing environment.

  • Any experience in SQL, Power BI or VBA will be an asset.
