SC&A is seeking a qualified Continuity, Planning, Training, and Exercise Analyst III to support Federal mission and program activities related to Federal homeland security, emergency management, and resiliency programs with a focus on continuity program delivery. The candidate will provide task management, analytical and related capabilities associated with Federal Continuity Programs in the areas of policy/doctrine, capability-based assessments, and planning and procedure development, training, and exercise support, including but necessary limited to, assisting with program management and technical support to various Federal clients; coordinating with applicable intra and inter agency stakeholders to establish and maintain continuity programs; provide collaborative Federal-level technical assistance in the development and/or refinement of plans, policies, and procedures; development and delivery of training and exercises; data collection, analysis, and reporting; meeting and event support. This is a D.C. based position and may require working on site at government locations in the Washington D.C. area at company’s office, telework, or a combination of each.

- Strong writing/copy editing skills, database and list management skills, and expertise with Microsoft Office Suite.

- Experience and capabilities to deliver on all aspects of the continuity life-cycle.
- Fluency and understanding of continuity terminology and Federal continuity requirements.
- Understanding and experience in applying HSEEP framework for exercise design, deliver, and after action.
- Experience in designing and delivering continuity related training.
- Individuals who possess the following certifications will be viewed favorably:
- Associate Emergency Manager (AEM)/Certified Emergency Manager (CEM),
- Professional Continuity Practitioner (PCP)/Master Continuity Practitioner (MCP), and/or
- Master Exercise Practitioner (MEP) certifications
Requirements
- US Citizen
- Bachelor's degree, preferably emergency management field
- Seven (7) or more years of experience in homeland security, continuity of operations and exercise planning
- Expertise with general office skills and software
- Ability to handle information confidentially
