As a Content Strategy Manager, you will be an integral member of the AvidXchange Growth Marketing team, helping to guide prospects through the marketing funnel by developing and executing winning content strategies that drive measurable business outcomes. The role requires a strategic thinker with a passion for storytelling, strong writing abilities and project management skills, and the ability to work cross-functionally to develop and amplify content.
What you'll do:
- Develop and execute comprehensive content strategies aligned with overall marketing and business objectives
- Use audience research and competitor analysis to inform content strategy decisions
- Align content measurement with team KPIs to evaluate performance and identify areas for improvement
- Manage and execute all aspects of content creation, including brainstorming, research, writing, editing, and production (including working with freelancers) for a variety of content types, e.g., blog posts, eBooks, case studies, webinars, podcasts and videos
- Collaborate with internal teams to define, design, and implement messaging strategies
- Serve as strategic counsel to the campaign management and brand teams to develop and optimize content across digital channels
- Develop close working relationships with other practice areas such as campaign management, product marketing, digital, creative, and brand
- Work cross-functionally to determine the digital journey and user paths for the website
- Oversee the maintenance of the creative content library
- Maintain brand voice and style guidelines
What we are looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Creative Writing, Advertising, Marketing, or related field of study
- 3+ years’ experience writing high-quality content, managing process from end-to-end
- 3+ years’ experience cross-functionally managing projects
- Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Experience developing and optimizing marketing content across digital channels
- Proven track record of producing content that met or exceeded KPIs
- Experience in B2B SaaS or fintech a plus
- An exceptional portfolio with proven ability to develop and execute successful content strategies
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment on multiple projects, across multiple subject matters while adhering to strict deadlines
- The ability to dive into subject matters or industries and learn about them quickly
- The ability to apply industry-specific compliance standards and regulation to messaging
- Highly motivated, results-oriented, and a team player
- Data-driven with strong analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to measure results, analyze data and draw insights
- Basic understanding of SEO principles and best practices
- Experience with data analysis tools (e.g., Google Analytics, SEMrush)
- Experience with podcast and social media video strategy a plus
