We currently have around 180 customers in Insurance Software for UK and Ireland accounting for circa $60m in annual revenue and growing. We have brokers, carriers and reinsurers operating in the Life and Pensions, Commercial & Specialty and Reinsurance markets.

They range from very large to very small and most of the clients in the Commercial & Specialty space where the Lloyd’s market is undergoing a huge transformation. We are in the middle of this transformation and each customer will have one or more of our software products. These products typically form’s the engine room of their business. This means that right now there is a huge need for our customers to hear from us on a regular basis and this is where you will come in.

We have an exciting vacancy for an ambitious, tenacious, and enthusiastic focused Content Strategist to work on a Hybrid capacity from our London Office.

The strategic content specialist will lead the development and execution of content for events that engage and grow our Insurance Software & BPS (ISB) customer community. This role requires a strategic thinker who can craft compelling content that resonates with our target audience while also leading/advising cross-functional teams to create presentations for community events, such as conferences, webinars and Customer Advisory Council meetings. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in B2B marketing, content creation and event management, with a passion for fostering customer relationships. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to produce high-quality, relevant content, such as event landing pages, invitations, agendas and presentations that educates, informs and engages the ISB customer community 

  • Ensure all content maintains a consistent brand voice and message while addressing the specific challenges and opportunities faced by our customers 

  • Partner with event managers to organize and execute both virtual and in-person events that enhance community engagement, including user conferences, webinars, workshops and networking events 

  • Develop initiatives that encourage active participation and engagement within the community, both through content and events 

  • Gather and incorporate community feedback to continuously improve the relevance and impact of content and events 

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product leaders, marketing, sales and delivery to ensure content and events align with broader company objectives and adhere to brand guidelines 

  • Advocate for new ideas and approaches in support of continuous improvement / innovation 

  • Think creatively and translate those ideas into engaging pieces of digital content 

Qualifications 

  • Undergraduate Degree  

  • Several years of experience: Proven experience as a Content strategist, Communication specialist or similar role with a strong portfolio in communications content working in a B2B environment, specifically the insurance or software industry 

  • Flexibility in managing events across different time zones or regions given the global nature of the customer community 

  • Passion and experience for creating compelling content for diverse audiences and formats, including Marketing/event recruitment emails, internal communication, social media posts, copy for environmental branding; ability to adapt tone and relevant messages for varying audiences 

  • Skills: Excellent writing, editing and communication skills with a keen eye for detail and creativity; experience editing and designing presentations in PowerPoint; strong project management skills and experience leading cross-functional teams 

  • Attributes: Strong organizational skills, ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and a proactive, results-oriented mindset 

Preferred Qualification:  

  • Experience in managing content and events for a B2B customer community 

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with vendors, partners and internal stakeholders 

  • Strong customer-centricity and demonstrated ability to place the customer at the heart of everything 

  • Creative problem-solving abilities, with a passion for creating unique and engaging event content and experiences 

  • Strong understanding of community dynamics and the ability to design event content that meets the needs of a diverse customer base 

  • Proven ability to work collaboratively with others 

  • Ability to think strategically, coupled with a pragmatic results orientation and proven track record of delivering strong tactical execution 

  • Experience with marketing and event management software, such as Marketo and Cvent
