We are seeking a creative and results-driven Content Strategist to join our International Marketing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building impactful content marketing programs and creating compelling thought leadership content within the Asset Management or related industries.

The Content Strategist will be responsible for creating new content across five investment boutiques—Barrow Hanley, J O Hambro, Trillium, TSW, and Regnan—and across the Americas, UK, EMEA, and Asia regions. This role requires close collaboration with investment and distribution teams to ensure content aligns with business objectives and market positioning. The successful candidate will also be responsible for developing product-centric content, requiring a deep understanding and experience with investment products, including strategies and mutual funds.

Key responsibilities include developing and producing a wide range of content, executing comprehensive content marketing strategies, managing multiple projects, and ensuring all content adheres to brand voice and regulatory guidelines. The Content Strategist will also analyze content performance metrics and stay informed about industry trends to identify opportunities for differentiation. This role is crucial for engaging existing clients, encouraging retention, and attracting new intermediary and institutional clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and produce a wide range of content, including articles, whitepapers, videos, podcasts, sales collateral, presentations, and social media posts.

  • Collaborate with investment, product, and distribution teams to gather insights and translate complex investment concepts into accessible and engaging content.

  • Execute comprehensive content marketing strategies aligned with business objectives, product prioritization, and target audiences.

  • Originate and execute ideas for new materials that communicate differentiated product messages aligned with distribution priorities.

  • Establish strong working relationships with fund managers and compliance counterparts globally to ensure smooth end-to-end delivery of all materials.

  • Ensure all content aligns with the brand voice and messaging guidelines of the relevant investment boutique.

  • Tailor messages to different regions and audiences to support global content needs.

  • Work with PR partners to draft byline articles and commentary for press in various regions.

  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality output.

  • Analyze content performance metrics to assess effectiveness and make recommendations for future initiatives.

  • Serve as an editor for external communications, ensuring content is polished and adheres to the relevant boutique’s style guidelines.

  • Communicate content plans and results effectively to marketing, distribution, and boutique stakeholders, ensuring alignment with broader business goals.

  • Stay informed about industry trends to identify opportunities and areas for differentiation.

Qualifications

  • Extensive experience in content marketing and investment writing.

  • Experience in Asset Management or a related financial services industry.

  • Strong understanding of financial markets, investment products, and economic concepts.

  • Experience marketing equity, fixed income, and alternative credit asset classes.

  • Ability to create content in various formats, including written, video, and audio (samples may be requested).

  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail.

  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.

  • Proficiency in content management systems and digital marketing tools is a plus.

  • Proven track record of driving results through effective content marketing strategies.

  • Ability to interpret data and metrics and generate actionable insights.

  • Ability to travel 1-2 times per quarter to boutique locations in the U.S., including Dallas, TX.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.

  • Series 7 and/or Series 24 licenses preferred.


$140,000 - $160,000 per annum
