The Job
We’re looking to add an innovative Content Strategist with a proven track record in content creation. This is not merely a copy-editing role; we need a visionary who can shape content strategies and create content to attract ideal audiences.
This candidate should bring strong opinions on how content marketing at Simpro Group can engage, educate, and expand our B2B audience.
What You’ll Do

Content strategy: Implement comprehensive content strategies that align with our global targets, product releases, and ideal customer profile.

Content creation: Produce high-quality, compelling copy across various formats, including articles, blogs, emails, annual reports and long form content.

Content editing: Oversee that our content has a seamless flow and is structured to be clear and engaging. Ensure the content is valuable and helpful to our audience, providing them with actionable insights and information.

Editing and proofreading: Ensure all content is error-free, aligns with brand voice, and meets our high standards for quality and accuracy.

Collaboration: Work closely with campaigns, design, and product marketing teams to create cohesive and compelling content pieces.

Research and Interviews: Conduct thorough research to become a product expert and develop audience personas. Interview customers to gather insights and real-world experiences, ensuring content is deeply informed and resonates with our audience.

SEO content pipeline: Work closely with the SEO Strategist to prioritize SEO web page updates and manage the creation or update of copy according to SEO briefs. Manage the weekly blog production schedule with contractors and hand-off to the web team.

Contractor relationships: Manage relationships with external contractors including managing budgets, delivery deadlines, briefing and proofing of completed work to an acceptable standard.
What You’ll Bring

Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.

5+ years of experience in content strategy, writing, and editing.

Exceptional writing and editing skills with a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of content flow.

Proficient in SEO best practices and content management systems (CMS).

Excellent communication and collaboration skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Ability to think creatively and strategically.

Experience writing about SaaS Companies and technology.

Your resume and a link to your online portfolio or writing samples.
