LOCATION: Apply Digital is hybrid/remote-friendly. The preferred candidate should be based in Latin America, preferably working in hours that align to ET (Eastern Timezone) or PT (Pacific Timezone).


Candidates located in Santiago, Chile are able to work out of our Santiago office as remote/hybrid employees. Candidates located outside of Santiago, Chile will be fully remote employees.


THE ROLE:


We are looking for a Content Specialist to join our growing team. As a Content Specialist, you will manage the end-to-end content production process, including strategy, planning, creation, and delivery. This role builds ties by adding consulting, content strategy, and content management components.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the creation, editing, and managing of content in CMS platforms
  • Develop and execute content strategies that align with business objectives and audience needs.
  • Collaborate with developers to ensure CMS components can support content and accessibility requirements
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their content requirements and translate them into actionable plans.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance content production efficiency.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry best practices.

Requirements:

  • 3–5 years of experience in content production, digital marketing, or a related field.
  • Strong English-language skills (B2–C1).
  • Experience in developing content architecture, navigation, and taxonomy frameworks to improve content findability and user experience.
  • Proficiency in SEO, content optimization, content workflow enhancements, and digital content best practices.
  • Proficiency in using Contentful, Contentstack, or similar headless platforms.
  • Experience in creating multilingual and regional content strategies, ensuring cultural relevance, and maintaining consistency across global markets.
  • A background in the Humanities or Media, with strong writing skills
  • .Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-discipline teams and work effectively with clients.
  • Working knowledge of issue-tracking tools like Jira.
  • Familiarity with technical knowledge of HTML and web publishing.
  • Familiarity with UX design principles and how they intersect with content strategy

Nice To Haves

  • A strong sense of storytelling, with the ability to craft compelling brand narratives that resonate with target audiences and drive engagement.
  • Knowledge of content modelling techniques, particularly within headless CMS environments, to create scalable and reusable content structures.
  • Experience in effectively communicating content strategy to stakeholders, advocating for content as a key business asset.
